He's done! This took an entire day to create, but I had to wait a day to upload it because the WiFi was out last night.. ugh.
I used an image online and turned it into a pattern as reference, then I recreated it in pixel form.
If it looks a little spotty and not perfect up-close, it's because it needs to be viewed from a smaller scale/farther away, just like most pixel art.
