Bright Skies

This is a practice piece that I worked on last night. I really wanted to try something a little different yesterday, so I messed around and came up with this!
I don't usually paint actual paintings on wood, so this was a nice change. Experimenting with acrylics like this on wood is actually pretty fun! Taking the time to blend the colors together to make the sky was kinda fun too!

You can see in the side panels that the bottom in purple was painted with a coating of sparkles. Since you can't really see the sparkles from the far angle, I figured I'd show it off in the side panel. That also goes for the clouds as well, I painted sparkles on them too and wanted to show a close up. The clouds were painted with a sponge brush for a nicer, more fluffier effect.
